A zero-waste chef is planning a tasty pop-up dinner in this Cork city wine bar

Those sweet potatoes never had a chance.
There’s nothing worse than throwing out food, especially when it’s the same type of food each time. Besides the money wasted, it also weighs heavy on the conscience knowing we’re filling up the bin with once perfectly good ingredients because of our own dreaded laziness.
Now L’Attitude 51 is hosting a special pop-up in their Union Quay wine bar to tackle this very problem.
“Delighted to be hosting Conor Spacey for the Cork launch of his book ‘Wasted’. A collection of plant-based recipes that have been developed using some of the most wasted food items in our homes” said the organisers on Instagram.
“As part of Cork on a Fork, Conor will cook a plant-based tasting menu and we will pair some of our favorite natural wines with it,” they added, inviting foodies who are dedicated to sustainable food practices to come along and make a night of it.
