This race track is exclusively for miniature RC cars (and it’s the only one in Ireland)

This will appeal to big kids as much as little ones.
Just outside Ballinhassig, radio-controlled car fans can test their mettle on the controls at Ireland’s only all-dirt track.
If you’re in the market for a new hobby, the Cork Radio Control Racing Club or CRCRC is the official home of the sport on Leeside.

Located in Kileady, the club was established in 2010 and now boasts members from all over the world, who regularly meet to race nitro/electric cars at speeds of up to 70km/h.
At upwards of €400, the cars are not cheap to purchase, but for anyone with an interest, the club offers plenty of advice and encouragement as well as a welcoming atmosphere for new members.
You can even try out a guest car free of charge if you fancy checking out the facilities with the kids.
