This popular Cork pub is finally selling sandwiches, cakes and scones

It’s a prime perch for people-watching.
And this week, the fine folks over at the popular city centre pub The Roundy are giving us a reason to linger a little longer on Castle Street; they’ve finally announced a new little daytime menu.
Setting their sights on a slice of the snack trade, the bar has announced the addition of two gourmet sambos – a sliced prosciutto with wholegrain mustard, mayo, crisp rocket, sundried tomatoes and parmesan shavings as well as a veggie option containing brie, fresh avocado, red onion pickle, crisp rocket and a mango, red chilli and coriander salsa.
You can also wash down your coffee or pint with a raspberry bakewell cake, a courgette cake, a chocolate cookie, or even a scone.
It’s a lovely start.
