With restrictions still putting a dampener on social fun, we can at least take comfort in knowing our favourite brunch spots will escape any curbs on opening hours.
And wouldn’t you know it; Good Day Deli just announced some heavenly new Winter Brunch menu additions ahead of their reopening this Saturday, January 8th, 2022.
For those feeling a tad adventurous, there’s the Hibiscus Poached Pear Pancakes made with hibiscus poached organic pear, coconut, and Irish mascarpone on buttermilk pancakes with lashings of Hivemind honey.

Or perhaps you’ll be tempted to try the Good Day Deli Smoked Beetroot Benny made with tea-smoked beetroot, sautéed organic kale and hollandaise smothered poached eggs on sourdough, topped with a hazelnut dukkah.
There’s a slightly different menu on the weekends with Island Bay Huevos Rancheros (lightly spiced turtle and kidney beans, topped with organic eggs on nino corn tacos, plus salsa and cream cheese – divine) taking the place of the delectable Chestnut Mushroom Scramble (duxelles of chestnut mushroom, organic eggs on sourdough with lashing of goats cheese) on the weekday menu.
