This pop-up gin bar is the place to be at Race and Taste Festival

Gin lovers assemble.
If sipping al fresco gin cocktails in the spring sunshine sounds like your kind of weekend activity, now is the time to nab a ticket for The Barry Group Race & Taste Festival at Cork Racecourse Mallow on May 10th and 11th, 2019.
The official gin of the festival, Conbec Gin is hosting a pop-up bar in the marquee throughout the event, which will combine fabulous food with a spot of racing for an exciting family day out.
A smooth, warming gin with hedgerow berries and zesty citrus notes, Conbec will be offering a tasty limited edition signature serve throughout the festival too; The Fierce Furlong is a refreshing blend of Conbec, Merchant’s Heart Hibiscus Tonic, raspberries and fresh mint.
Named after the loyal, fierce wolfhound of Irish folklore, Conbec is a tribute to the beloved hunting dog of Finn, Chief of the Fiana.
Gentle when stroked, fierce when provoked, the wolfhound was so respected in ancient Ireland that it was common practice for kings and warriors to place the word cú (meaning ‘wolfhound’) in front of their names, implying that they were as worthy of respect as the fabled dog.
