This pop-up dinner (an eight-course feast) is entirely inspired by classic cartoons

The first event was a complete sell-out.
Now an artists’ collective is creating another brand-new dining experience for the people of Cork; Flavour Notes sees a group of experienced chefs and musicians working together to showcase their skills.
“We firmly believe that our tastes are intertwined with the sounds we tune into while dining and socialising. By working together under a general theme we are creating a culinary experience [sic] blending with music to enhance the meal and to show the history and providence of both during the evening,” they explain on social media.
Their first event in November, A Night of Soul, blended soul food with classic and modern soul music.
December’s culinary and musical synthesis will include an eight-course tasting menu -each dish from a classic animated movie- served in unison with songs and music from corresponding films.
“We are hoping it will be a night of new experience and nostalgia,” said a spokesperson.
