This patisserie on wheels doles out warm sourdough, fresh pastries (and sheer joy)

Their cakes are to die for.
If you’ve ever gone shopping in the English Market on a hungry belly, you’ve surely had your head turned by the sight of Heaven’s Cakes’ cabinet of delectable dainty treats.
The Cork patisserie boasts a huge range of pastries, meringues, créme brûlée, and devious créme annalise as well as tartlets, pain au chocolat and every manner and flavour of clafoutis.

What you may not have known is that the sweet treat station also has a shop in Bandon town and is a frequenter of the Midleton Farmers market.
Every Saturday morning, their adorable patisserie on wheels brings the people of East Cork every buttery brack, loaf, and sweet and savoury snack an oven can muster.

The portable patisserie is also something of a bread-mobile carrying a huge range of sourdoughs including 100%, wholemeal and malted versions as well as rye, multi-grain, granary, hazelnut, and rye variations.
If you’re more of a bread traditionalist, they sell soda and treacle soda as well- all hand crafted and freshly made.
You can find Heaven’s Cakes at the Midleton Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning from 9am-1 pm.
