It’s definitely a day for an iced honeycomb latte – here’s where to find one

By Yay Cork July 11, 2022July 11, 2022

Iced coffee season has officially begun.

And if we have to go to work while temperatures soar into the mid-twenties and the sun beats in the window, we will at least need a ready supply of cold caffeinated beverages to keep our spirits up until we can knock off and head for the beach.

Luckily, Cork’s coffee game is as strong as its espresso and there are plenty of top-notch drinks slingers ready and waiting to fulfill our requirements.

If you fancy something extra sweet to get you through the working week, head over to 99 Douglas Street, where Café Moly has concocted a rather wonderful little drink that will satisfy your sweet tooth and service your coffee craving in one gulp.

You may have spotted their Iced Honeycomb Latte on billboards around town (the posters are a collaboration with artist Elinor O’Donovan).

A milky blend of the good stuff and the Crunchie-esque flavour of delicious honeycomb, it might be one of the best things about being stuck in town when all your mates are skiving off on holiday.

Café Moly is dog-friendly too so take your canine companion along for the stroll if you’re working from home.
