This new Italian deli and pizzeria has cookbooks to read while you wait
The finishing touches are almost complete.
A new neighbourhood pizza spot opens this week in Youghal, with a selection of cookbooks to browse while you wait.
Luigi’s Deli ad Pizzeria will open its doors at 72 North Main Street, Youghal on Tuesday, March 26th, with a tasty menu of traditional favourites from homemade pizza to lasagna, antipasto and heartier fare such as twice-baked potatoes smothered in jalapenos and queso, garlic and mozzarella or curry and cheddar.
The Italian chef behind the shop is Luigi Camilleri, who ran a successful restaurant in the town for many years before closing due to rising costs in 2022.
They also have a fine selection of decadent desserts ready to wow their customers, including Italian favourites (oh hello homemade tiramisu) to cappuccino brownies and a Nutella pizza.
The interior of the shop has been handmade in rustic wood and Luigi’s will also be selling a range of homemade sauces and spreads to take home (there’s a Liquid Fire fermented jalapeño sauce and a Prosecco Orange Marmalade we can’t wait to try).
