The Change Café will open monthly to offer friendly menopause support over coffee

More of this, please.
A community-led women’s health initiative is opening a monthly meet-up for anyone who wants to learn more about menopause.
The Change Café will open on Tuesday, April 9th at 7pm in the Ballyphehane Community Centre at Tory Top Road, Ballyphehane, Cork with Deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Collette Finn in attendance to launch the idea.
The free Café will be open on the second Tuesday of every month and will focus on talks and workshops by people with specialist knowledge in health and menopause.
‘We want to empower women to support each other’
There will also be time to have cuppas and chats, ask questions and share experiences, with the idea of forming new connections and friendships.
“This initiative is in response to the needs of women in our community who are looking for resources and information.” the organisers told us.
“We want to empower women to support each other and to just talk about menopause and other issues affecting them and to reassure them about their feelings, concerns, issues, fears, anxieties as well as explore options and therapies available.”
