This mysterious Christmas proposal just appeared on a Cork wall
We love a bit of romance around here.
Add in a dash of mystery and a fantastically lovey-dovey gesture and you’ve got our attention.
That’s why we were very excited to see what might be a very clever Christmas proposal appear on Saint Patrick’s Road in Turner’s Cross this week.
The blue and yellow posters, pasted on two advertising board next to ads for the Christmas panto at the Everyman and Tommy Fleming in concert at the Opera House, feature just one question: ‘S.B.C. WILL YOU MARRY ME?’
No other information is included.
We’re hoping it’s all part of a dreamy love story where SBC spots the sign en route to work and he or she stands there, gobsmacked, while a string quartet begins to play and their other half emerges from behind a wall with an enormous bouquet of roses.
