Babies bring a lot of baggage.

They also grow out of said baggage in record time, often leaving parents with drawerfuls of excess clothing and rooms full of gifted toys they no longer have any use for.

Now there’s a lovely way to put every single piece to good use.

A new service called Let’s Match Mums will pair you with a mum in Direct Provision who has a child or children of a similar age to your own.

When your children have outgrown their clothes, toys, books and baby equipment you can pass these items directly on to the mum who you have been matched with.

The service is specifically looking for parents in Cork to sign up as there are a large number of families in Direct Provision Centres in Cork who would appreciate the help.
