We spend a lot of our lives in our cars.

And in a new locally-made ad featuring a familiar face or two, Skoda dealer Noel Deasy Cars celebrates all the special little journeys we remember forever.

The nostalgic little video, which has already racked up thousands of views on YouTube, has been leaving viewers teary-eyed, charting the magical moments “from those first spins with our full license to road trips for sea swims.”

Eagle-eyed viewers will spot Young Offenders star Shane Casey, actress and TikTok star Taylor Lee Keating, TikToker and podcaster Sarah McShane and her other half, Richie Herlihy, who’s behind the food vlog Richie’s Food and Nature.

Rebecca Maye, Sarah Dunne, and Kai Sheehan also feature.

The video was created by Cork marketing agency 3B1 and shot in various locations around Cork.

“From working closely with our client Noel Deasy Cars, we realised that in Ireland there is a unique connection between us and our cars.” 3B1’s Max Von Mensenkampff told Yay Cork.

“And for 43 years they have been part of these stories. From your first trip home after you’re born to all the moments and milestones that make up life, chances are the car was part of it.

“No matter where in Cork you are from, we share so many common memories and experiences on the roads. It’s something that so many people can relate to.

“We were so lucky and grateful to get some local heroes to help us bring this idea to life.”
