This London hotel has turned their garden into a Christmas ski lodge

If a Christmas jaunt to London is on the cards this year, put this spot on your must-see list.
The luxe Montague Hotel has announced the return of its hugely popular Ski Lodge experience, which serves up an authentic slice of the Alps in Bloomsbury.
From now until Saturday, January 20th, 2018, the luxury Georgian townhouse will be serving Christmas fare in a cosy, festive-themed alpine Ski Lodge, complete with log cabin.
The Montague’s outdoor deck area is freshly adorned with pine trees, twinkling lights, jolly snowmen, ski racks and falling snow, with a decadent winter menu to match.
Ski Lodge visitors can select from a range of après ski favourites including homemade flavoured schnapps and vodkas (think candy cane, butterscotch, mandarin and toffee) and winter warmers like mulled wine, spiced cider and decadent hot ‘choctails’.
If it’s a bit of romance you’re after, the Log Cabin area, complete with a decorative fireplace, cosy armchairs, blankets and a range of bar snacks and festive themed drinks is the spot for you.
Christmas proposal, anyone?
To visit the Ski Lodge on a wintry weekend, guests can purchase a ‘ski pass’ which includes an hour’s access; a seasonal spread of food, including a mini turkey schnitzel, mini bratwurst and deep fried camembert (vegetarian options are available too); plus a choice of three festive drinks from the Ski Lodge bar menu.
Visitors can even take a ‘ride’ on the Montague Ski Lift and share a selfie using #SkiMontague on Twitter or Instagram to be in with a chance of winning a luxury two night stay at Hotel D’Angleterre, Geneva for two people.
The Montague on the Gardens’ Ski Lodge and Log Cabin is open from 1pm to 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays for ‘ski pass’ access. It’s a popular spot, so make a reservation with the hotel before you arrive to secure your seats.
