The Trident Hotel’s Master Suites are located on the uppermost floor of the hotel, boasting unobstructed panoramic views of Kinsale harbour from the large floor to ceiling windows.

You can hop out of bed in the morning and take the fresh sea air on your private balcony before a bubble bath in the luxe bathroom and a Nespresso in your cosy robe and slippers.

Yep, this is how the other half live.

There’s a fully stocked mini bar, in-room dining, a turndown service and flat screen LCD televisions too, natch.

It ain’t cheap (the Master Suites cost around €450 per night during the high season) but for a special weekend away, this is a place to make some serious memories.

If you get bored of that view (yeah, right) then you can always decamp to the Wharf Tavern Terrace downstairs to soak up the evening sunshine over a chilled glass of vino.
