Do you work for a charity that could use this?

As restaurants across the county close their doors as part of the Covid-19 shut-down, a Cork-based fruit and vegetable company has been left with a glut of fresh stock and no customers to use it.

Now AllFresh Wholesale Limited has appealed to organisations that might be able to use the food to get in touch with them. They’ll be donating the entire shipment, completely free of charge, to worthy causes… but they need to move fast.

“Due to the current situation and with most of our customers (restaurants and hotels) closing we have an excessive amount of fresh produce in stock.” the company shared on Facebook.

“We are interested in donating this stock to any worthy charities, we are happy to deliver in the Cork area.”

Their warehouse is stacked with boxes of fresh raspberries, apples, oranges, pineapples, lettuce, peppers, leeks, tomatoes and bags of peeled potatoes; everything necessary to feed people in need during these challenging times.
