Need an excuse to get your glad rags on?
This Sunday, you’re in luck: Just in time to help you dance off all those Easter egg calories, the Cork LGBT+ Pride Festival is presenting Pride AID, an online party of music and entertainment.
Pour some bubbles and hit Facebook Live here on Sunday, April 12th from 7pm to 9:30pm for a live show featuring everyone from Paul Ryder and Stevie G to The Old Moderns and The Guilty Judges, with all proceeds raised on the donations page going to LGBT Ireland.
“This is a particularly hard period for those in the community that may be living alone or in hostile environments and we want to assist LGBT Ireland in providing the essential supports needed,” said Clive Davis, Chairperson Cork LGBT+ Pride Festival.
“All of the acts that have enthusiastically come onboard for Pride AID are longstanding Cork Pride supporters and have very generously given of their time to help this very worthy cause.”
The line-up includes:
The Guilty Judges
The Old Moderns
Claire O Mahony
Muireann Ní Cuilleann
The money raised will support vital helpline, online chat and face to face services.
