Gearing up for a spot of gift shopping?

If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a festive brunch or breakfast before you join the queues, Ballyseedy Café in Carrigaline and Midleton could be just what Santa ordered.

The new Christmas menu features Buttermilk Pancakes smothered in Nutella, sprinkled with toasted hazelnuts and topped with a dollop of whipped cream… and if that doesn’t keep you going ’til dinner, nothing will.

If it’s a savoury dish you’re craving, try the Pudding Hash; black and white pudding, crispy herbed potatoes, spring onions, garlic aioli, and sriracha topped with two fried eggs.

They also do a mean Veggie with halloumi, wilted spinach, smokey Northern beans, hash brown, herbed grilled tomato and a fried egg and food is served from 9am to 5pm daily.
