Brought to you by Atlas.

Craving a night out somewhere brand new?

The latest quirky cocktail bar and restaurant to open in town is promising to take guests on a globetrotting adventure… and you won’t even need your passport to enjoy it.

Atlas is now open at 32 Marlboro Street, with tables available throughout the Christmas countdown (book now to nab one).

Inside you’ll find a cosy cocoon stuffed with authentic reclaimed and antique decor and hidden original art pieces.

What’s on the menu?

The Atlas menu is inspired by all the best bits of international cuisine; we’re talkin’ Bruschetta Three Ways or Hummus and Warm Flatbreads to start, Nachos stacked high with all the trimmings to nibble on while you’re enjoying a drink and a mouthwatering Charcuterie Board for sharing with your amour.

Fans of Mexican fare will be tempted by the Tacos (slow-cooked pulled pork or vegan jackfruit with pico de gallo and Mexican slaw), while the Sicilian Arancini are a must-try; classic golden balls of risotto filled with ragu and melted mozzarella.

Few of us were able to head off on a sun holiday this year, but you can still enjoy all your Spanish favourites at Atlas; there’s Spanish Buttermilk Chicken Skewers served with house dip, Patatas Bravas with Salsa Roja and crisp Calamari with house tartar and Vietnamese dip for seafood fans.

Local pints on tap include Rising Sons Brewery Redemption Red Ale and Changeling IPA, with Stonewell Cider from Kinsale by the bottle and Cork’s own Maharani Gin at the bar too.

The well-travelled cocktail list features custom Atlas drinks such as the Wanderlust (Plantation Pineapple Rum, Bols Melon, Malibu, Peach Schnapps, lime juice, sugar syrup and pineapple juice) and the Take Me Down To Kokomo, a delicious frozen blend of Bacardi Carta Blanca, Bols Strawberry, Malibu, lime, strawberry puree, banana and cranberry juice.

Most importantly; don’t forget dessert. The Atlas Sweet Chinese Bao Bun involves hazelnut chocolate, fresh cream and strawberries piled into a steamed bun.

The highly recommended Chocolate Bomb Surprise delivers an unforgettable, if not theatrical, finish to any meal; drench it in the warm chocolate ganache to reveal the sweet treat inside.

Reservations at Atlas, 32 Marlboro Street, Cork City are currently available via their website. Once your table is reserved you will receive a booking confirmation.
