This Halloween you can watch four cult horror movies in a Cork church

Too old for trick-or-treating?
Every Halloween, Triskel Arts Centre screens a series of cult horror movies in their unique former church space on South Main Street; a perfectly spooky spot to spend the evening.
This year’s Halloween movie line-up is spread over two nightss. On Thursday October 30th, you can watch Bram Stoker’s Dracula and The Lost Boys, while John Carpenter’s Halloween is back on Halloween night itself, Friday October 31st, along with the film that spawned the ‘found footage’ horror sub-genre, The Blair Witch Project.
“The original Halloween from 1978, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence, is THE movie synonymous with this particular festive season and it’s always fun to screen it.” said Chris O’Neill, Head of Cinema at Triskel.
“And when The Blair Witch Project came out audiences were polarised, either dismissing it as nonsense or considering it to be one of the scariest movies of all time. It’ll be interesting to see how today’s audiences react.”
It’s a special time of year for fans of scary movies to celebrate and have fun. Tickets are on sale now at the links below:
