Everything looks a little ‘blah’ when you take down the Christmas tree.

That’s why we’re all about this upcoming hands-on flower arranging class in Cork Cricket Club.

Creative whiz Jill O’Keeffe is hosting a Spring Rhapsody Workshop at the adorable Mardyke venue on January 27th, 2019 from 11am to 4.30pm.

The perfect remedy for these dark winter days, the seasonal floral workshop will help you breathe new life into your home with a symphony of spring colour, ‘celebrating the reawakening of nature’.

Over the course of the day, participants will make all of the following items to take home:

• Love Nest: A collection of pretty spring bulbs and flowers planted in a sustainable nest of natural materials
• A Sylvan Vase: This arrangement features a vibrant collection of flowers. Guests will receive tips and techniques on how to make the most of delicate blooms.
• A Spring Wreath: They’re not just for Christmas you know, a spring wreath is gorgeous door decor for a new season.

Lunch, tea and coffee are provided during the day and all inclusive tickets are €165 here.

It’s the ideal excuse to chill out for a full day (the perfect Dry January activity) and you even get to bring home your beautiful creations afterwards.
