This fun music event invites Cork kids to dance and stomp around their local library

It’s not the kind of fun you’d expect in the library.
But a new event will be turning the generally quiet atmosphere upside down in seven Cork libraries as part of a raucously fun music workshop for kids.
Designed for children aged between five and eight years old, Songs for Stomping is touring Cork libraries at the end of October and the beginning of November, popping up in Carrigaline, Cobh, Clonakilty, Skibbereen, Dunmanway, Kinsale and Midleton Libraries.
Led by composer, music teacher, and well-known researcher of Cork Jewish Community history, Ruti Lachs, kids will join in by playing instruments, singing, and dancing, with lots of stomping guaranteed.
