If you enjoy confectionery and learning and you’re on the hunt for a way to combine them both, West Cork creatives Arran Street East have come up with just the thing.
The Schull pottery studio and workshop is hosting a beginner’s Doughnut Making Class across a number of Sundays this spring from 11am to 2pm.
“You will learn how to develop an enriched dough, be guided through shaping doughnuts, and learn how to fry, fill and glaze doughnuts to bring them to the next level of delicious,” they say.
Participants will even take home ready-to-eat doughnuts and a DIY dough so you can make even more of your own at home.

The beginners class is open to all ages and would be an especially clever way to reconnect with family, friends, or a teenager while making and eating fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.
Tickets for the three-hour class include all ingredients and are available at €68 here.
