This cute craft night turns Black Friday into Green Friday

It’s one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
Fuelled by the American tradition of hitting the sales the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday has gone global in recent years, with most big box retailers offering major discounts on Friday, November 23rd.
But if Black Friday gives you a consumerism migraine (a staggering 75 per cent of the Irish spend is on websites outside of Ireland) you could use it to make a different choice.
Wild Design is hosting a Green Friday customer event at St Peter’s Church on North Main Street on Friday, November 23rd from 5pm until 8.30pm.
You can meet, greet and shop your favourite crafters, see their full collections, pre-order gifts and soak up some festive fun, with Champagne on arrival and music from the Street Harpist.
You don’t get that kind of service when you’re queuing online, do you?
Fabulous Cork flowersmith Jill Wilde will give a Christmas decor demo and there’s even a free gift wrapping service so you can have any purchased dressed to thrill before you leave.
The event is free and you can register here.
