This cosy event will delight book lovers and fans of autumn vibes

There’s something magical about autumn.
The crisp air, the golden leaves… the urge to curl up with a good book.
Whether you’re a lifelong bookworm or just someone who adores a cosy vibe, an upcoming gathering is sure to feel like a treat.
The Alchemy of a Book Nook will take place inside Interiosity, 19 St Patrick’s Woollen Mills, Douglas on Friday, September 26th.
The event will be the official launch of Annemarie O’Connor’s new book Twitch, a brutally heroic and darkly humorous memoir of the Cork-based style expert, author and podcaster’s devastating diagnosis of early onset Parkinson’s disease.

Annmarie will be there on the morning to share some insights from her book, while guests enjoy hot coffee and hand-rolled, New York-style bagels by Becca’s Bagels, before checking out the latest decor ideas for autumn ’25, from luxurious chairs to cloud-soft blankets and flickering candles.
“This autumn, we’re embracing calm and cosy spaces made for slowing down.” the Interiosity crew told us.
“Join us for The Alchemy of a Book Nook, an event created to inspire your own cosy retreat.”
The fun begins at 10am on September 26th and all are welcome to drop by.
