This cosy city restaurant just launched an unreal €19 menu

Is it time to have fun again yet?
January is officially going on forever and with all the calorie counting and power walking going on, we’re ready to let our hair down, eat something wonderful and chill the flip out.
Happily, ORSO, the tiny restaurant with the big heart on Pembroke Street (next to Arthur Maynes) just unveiled a brand new Prix Fixe Menu offering three delicious courses for a bargain €19.
That’s an evening out for less than twenty quid; bargain.
These aren’t your fancy pants miniature rations either; the portions at ORSO are generous enough to keep any Irish dad happy and the big, bold flavours are inspired by the cuisines of the Southern Mediterranean and North Africa.
Developed by executive chef, Stephen Kehoe, the line-up features a divine Chicken Manti with tomato ragu and toasted seeds alongside Roast Pumpkin with gremolata and pomegranate and Seared Watermelon served with goat’s cheese to start.
Main courses on the Prix Fixe menu (Tuesday-Thursday, 5pm-7pm) include the melt-in-your-mouth Oregano and Lemon Lamb Shoulder with Feta and Fennel as well as the hake with spiced lentils and poached egg.
For dessert, the Chili Chocolate Pot will warm your cockles, but try the traditional Baklava if you’re eager to keep the new flavours coming.
Vegetarians and vegans are very well catered for at ORSO so there’s never been a better excuse to get the gang together.
Sure what else is there to do in January?
They don’t take reservations at ORSO so rock up early to secure a table. You can always grab a drink next door while you wait.
