This Cork pub just added special comfy seats for dogs

Planning a date with your doggo?
It can be tricky to find a lunch or dinner spot that welcomes dogs with open arms, but one Cork pub has gone above and beyond to show their customers that they really are 100% dog friendly.
The Anglers Rest in Leemount Cross, Carrigrohane has introduced special doggie chairs, so your pampered pooch will be just as comfortable as you are while you enjoy your meal.
The plush cushioned dog furniture can be placed right next to your table so man’s best friend doesn’t have to lie on the ground (god forbid) while you eat.
Swit swoo, like.
As well as a large riverside patio and garden to explore out the back, well behaved dogs are welcome to enjoy the cosy 200-year-old bar and restaurant too.
Dog owners have been piling on the praise for The Angler’s on Facebook.
Posting on the bar’s feed, Joe Higgins, owner of terrier Mulder (pictured above) wrote: ‘Thanks for being dog friendly, Mulder enjoyed his beef trimmings as we did our awesome lunch. Best restaurant in Cork!’
Customer Kenneth Page, who was made to feel welcome when he dropped by with his Westie Gracie posted: ‘Staff were brilliant and the coffee. Definitely will return again, great to see a great Cork restaurant welcoming dogs too! Gracie will be back.’
We’re already planning a post-walkies visit.
