When choosing a business name, the key thing is to stand out and be ‘down with the kids’ right?

That was obviously the thinking behind this rather unusual choice for a chipper in north west Cork.

Granted, FaceCook in Knocknagree is no longer open (the premises is up for sale on Daft right now if you fancy taking it over) but it was cringey fun while it lasted.

The menu was social media themed, complete with ‘Computer chips’, natch.

There was even the ultimate greasy tribute to their namesake’s founder – the Zucker Burger – and the entire premises is painted blue to match the Facebook logo.

We have so many questions.
