This Cork bakery’s chocolate bar profiterole cake will make you wish it was your birthday

A big birthday deserves a major cake and if you’ve got a chocolate lover in the family, there’s one bakery that’s guaranteed to put a smile on their face once the candles are blown out.
One of Cork’s most creative confectioners, Petra Kriva, the owner and head chef at Kanturk’s Yumm Café, is stacking cream-stuffed pastries, macarons, Maltesers, Biscoff biscuits, Kinder bars, and Rolos into the base for her outrageously over-the-top profiterole cakes.

Once the luscious interior of the cake is complete, Petra gets to work on the decoration, using dollops of rich chocolate ganache, crips Crunchie shards, and various other toppings to complete each cake, before dusting the entire mind-blowing creation in edible gold.
Instead of a traditional cake slice, party guests will enjoy a decadent bowl of assorted chocolate-drenched profiteroles, biscuits, and other goodies.
