Someone is bound to be worried about this.

Staff at a Gala store in Dunmanway have appealed to the public to help them identify the owner of an envelope and money discovered in the shop today.

While the store owners have checked their CCTV footage to try and find the owner of the property, they haven’t been able to track them down yet.

Now they are asking the owner to contact them and tell them the final item on the Christmas shopping list found with the envelope to ensure it gets returned to the right person in time to complete it.

“Do you recognise this package?” asked the staff of Sam’s Gala Dunmanway asked Facebook.

“One of our staff found this in the store this evening. There’s a substantial amount of money in the envelope and a shopping list which may help somebody identify its owner.

“The last item on the list is so unique, all the person who owns it has to do is tell us what it is and how much is in the envelope.”

“We have checked our CCTV and cannot see it being dropped by anyone and we have no idea how long it was in the place where it was found.”
