This café garden hosts sun-drenched brunches and moonlit dinners

Brought to you by Vikki’s Cafe.
Looking for the perfect spot to soak up the late summer sunshine?
Voted one of the top 20 outdoor terraces in Ireland this summer by the Sunday Independent, Vikki’s Café in Sunday’s Well is among the most popular brunch spots in Cork.
And it’s hardly a surprise; Brunch with Bottomless Prosecco is available every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 3pm and the Instagram opportunities are endless (every table is surrounded by wildflowers and lush greenery).
You can nab a comfy seat in the atmospheric garden for a warm morning or afternoon of al fresco dining (bring the papers and try the Jack Mc Carthy’s White Pudding on toasted Arbutus sourdough).
Later in the day, they do a roaring trade in soups, homemade sausage rolls and hefty toasties. In the evening, it’s a brilliant spot for a casual bite and some excellent wine by the glass or bottle – especially if you don’t like to faff around with bookings and reservations.
Moonlight dinner
If dining under the stars sounds like your kind of night out, listen up.
Vikki’s is hosting a magical garden party on Saturday, August 24th, 2019, inviting diners to eat on the fairy-light festooned terrace.
The famous Vikki’s dinner menu will be served from 7pm, with live music to enjoy as you make your way through each delicious course.
Fresh from the wedding celebrations of footballer Peter Schmeichel (the former Man United player booked him after watching him play at Kinsale’s Blue Haven Hotel), Mr Niall Mc Cabe will be at the mic for the night.
Simply book a table or swing by on the fly and enjoy a glass of wine while you wait to be seated.
The full Vikki’s menu is available here. They open from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and from 8.30am until late on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday brunch is served from 10am to 5pm. Find them on Facebook for regular updates.
