This Barrack Street bar is serving BEAMISH ice cream floats from their window

Now we’re talking.
The pubs aren’t scheduled to re-open until June 29th at the earliest, but one Cork bar has found a fun way to keep their customers happy while they wait out the restrictions.
O’Sho on Barrack Street has unveiled a new menu of delicious ice creams, sorbets and floats for all ages with boozy options available for grown-ups. The new menu is served Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm; you just rock up to the front window and collect your goodies.
There’s a Beamish Float (stout topped with a 99 ice cream float and a flake) for a very reasonable €5.20.
If your tastes are a touch fancier you can go for a Prosecco Float (a glass of bubbles topped with clementine sorbet – €9.50) or an EspressO’Sho Martini (cold brew coffee, vodka, Patron Café and ice cream – €11).
Coffee lovers will be thrilled with the Affogato Chorreador; a coffee made using traditional Costa Rican brewing methods, topped with a scoop of ice cream.
The Mudslide Float

The menu also features a decadent Mudslide, a blend of vodka, Kahlua and Baileys with a chocolate ice cream float and a light and fruity Clementine Old Fashioned, Bulleit Bourbon and orange bitters with a clementine sorbet float.
The toppings menu is pretty extra too, with crushed Oreos, mango and passionfruit syrups and dark chocolate sauce available to add to any order.
We reckon this will be a popular after-dinner treat to enjoy al fresco on a warm evening or a brilliant excuse to meet some mates for an outdoor chinwag over the weekend.
