This adorable little antiques shop and café is the ideal Sunday spin

Fancy a weekend spin?
If you love nothing better than browsing all manner of curious in search of a treasure to take home, there’s a new spot to add to your list.
Located at the end of the garden at Toonsbridge Dairy, just outside Macroom, Toonsbridge Antiques is now open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12.20pm to 6pm.
Stuffed with pretty vintage plates and serving dishes, art, frames, antique cutlery and books, the new shop is a must-visit if you’re in that part of Cork.
Collectors will be impressed by the thoughtful selection of original items, including a copy of Prose Narratives by Chauncey Wells, 1914 that belonged to Lady Gregory.
It comes complete with a presentation letter from the publisher as well as her bookplate.
It’s also a great spot to unearth a special gift or wedding present at a bargain price. This stunning 19th Century French lace collar can be part of your own collection for €30.
Our ideal day out would involve a wood fired pizza from Toonsbridge Dairy Pizzeria followed by homemade ice cream and a Golden Bean espresso, before a quiet hour investigating the antiques.
