These Mystery Book vending machines are popping up in Cork locations
There aren’t many surprises in life.
But if you want to leave your next good read in the hands of the literary gods, a handy new vending machine is here to supply just the thing.
Togher-based Book World sells used books purchased from charities around Ireland. The company launched a number of vending machines where you can buy a mystery book wrapped in brown paper, including one in the Marina Market, during the summer and now they’ve installed another one in Mahon Point Shopping Centre.
You can browse the books by genre only through the little glass window, then make your mystery book selection for just €6.
