These Cork neighbours enjoyed an outdoor movie night in their front gardens

This is just wonderful.
Residents of a Cork street were treated to a free classic movie last night… enjoyed from the comfort of their own front gardens.
As the pink Moon rose in the night sky, Frankfield Villas on Cork’s Windmill Road was turned into a unique outdoor cinema by experienced stage carpenter and production manager Scott Duggan.

Scott used a projector borrowed from Cyclone Rep theatre company to beam a classic film onto a large wall on the side of a house.
Neighbours could listen in on an FM radio, while enjoying the movie while sitting in their own separate front gardens, adhering to strict rules on Covid-19 social distancing.

Donations collected on the night were given to Age Action and Scott hopes to screen another movie somewhere in Cork in the coming days.
