These are the stage times for the six Cork Riverdance shows in June

Shock information: 1994 was 25 years ago.
From its humble beginnings as the interval act of the Eurovision Song Contest at the Point Theatre, Dublin, Riverdance has made waves across the world thousands of times over, bringing Irish culture and music to every corner of the earth.
Who could forget that mesmerising moment when Jean Butler and Michael Flatley burst onto the Eurovision stage in 1994 and stole our little Celtic hearts? Who amongst us hasn’t blared the soundtrack in a pub in Spain at 3am and made a holy show of ourselves as we attempted to do the middle bit where they all line up?
No? Just us? Nevertheless, it is a national treasure.
Now producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan have put a new twist on the ground-breaking show, which returns to Cork this summer at Live at the Marquee.
Performances will take place on:
- Thursday, June 2nd: 8pm
- Friday, June 3rd: 8pm
- Saturday: June 4th: 2.30pm and 8pm
- Sunday: June 5th: 2.30pm and 8pm.
