There’s going to be a bustling little market in Myross Wood this weekend

It’s a heading wesht kinda’ weekend.
If the weatherman gets it right, it’s looking like the best of the weather will be this Saturday and Sunday. And if you’re looking to get out of the city and suburbs this weekend, West Cork is a natural choice.
Luckily for us, Myross Wood Retreat Centre in Leap is hosting another one of their local markets, and they are promising a generous line-up of stallholders selling arts, crafts, plants, and vintage goodies.

“Discover an array of treasures as you explore more than 20 stalls offering plants, produce, crafts, art, vintage items, and much more. Find that perfect something you’ve been searching for!” they announced on Instagram.
If you’re landing on on an empty belly, there will be loads of food options available in the square, and to top it all off, you’re encouraged to explore the enchanting woodlands, which the CECAS group has been working hard on regenerating over the last few years.
The Myross Wood Market takes place this Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Attendees are reminded to enter the market from the Leap N71 direction and exit via the back road to keep the traffic flowing.
