There’s an entire day of free kid-friendly fun happening in this hotel on Saturday

Brought to you by the Cork International Choral Festival.
If you’ve got a little music lover in the family, put this in the schedule for Saturday and Sunday.
As part of the Cork International Choral Festival (May 1st-5th, 2019), a whopping 23 top-class choirs will wow guests and visitors at The Clayton Hotel on Lapp’s Quay.
Kicking off at 1.30pm on both days in the stunning, light-filled Atrium of the hotel, a new group or choir will perform every ten minutes from lunchtime until 6pm.
Just nab a comfy seat for a coffee, lunch or afternoon tea and settle in to enjoy uplifting renditions of choral classics from groups such as Cantate, Euphonics and the UCC Choral Society on Saturday.
Drop by for brunch or a tipple on Sunday and you could catch Viva Voce, the Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir, The Hill Harmonics or Cheep Trill Choir from Australia, to name but a few.
If you’d rather be on stage instead of the audience, The Big Sing on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 is set to be even bigger and better this year. Everyone’s invited to join in at City Hall and belt out this year’s brilliant song selection; Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop Feeling.
A full line-up for the weekend is available here.
Every year Cork welcomes choirs from across the world for a programme of choral concerts, national and international competition, and internationally renowned performers as thousands of participants bring the city to life for five days.
