There’s a Witches Walk in a Cork forest this Halloween (dress code: hats and broomsticks)

Need an excuse to gather your basic witches?
This Halloween, Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens is hosting a Witches Walk, inviting visitors to discover all kinds of fun and mysterious critters.
Kids and parents can enjoy the spooky trail around the famous Victorian working gardens, starting on Tuesday, October 26th. Families can partake in an interactive, self-guided walk using a treasure map through the themed alcoves of the garden and discover what spooky elements are hidden deep in the undergrowth.

The Witches Walk will run from Tuesday, October 26th until Sunday, October 31st from 11am to 4pm. Tickets for children are €5 and adults go free – good value for an afternoon of creepy entertainment.
If you have some time afterwards, check out the Fota House pet cemetery, erected in memory of the animals most adored by the residents of the 70-room Regency mansion, hidden beneath the greenery and fallen leaves.
