There’s a swish new sushi counter in Clonakilty’s most famous supermarket
Here’s an idea for your next beach picnic.
Scally’s much-loved SuperValu in Clonakilty has been undergoing a major facelift and they’ve just unveiled one of their new additions: a swanky new sushi counter.
Scally’s is the first SuperValu location in Ireland to have its own Sushi Circle, stocked to the hilt with every variety you can imagine, every piece hand-rolled fresh daily.
There’s a variety of sushi rolls and snacks to choose from, as well as Japanese desserts to enjoy afterwards.

Sushi Circle is located to the back of the store, where a new street food truck has also been installed (more on that soon).
You can pick up your nigiri, sashim and maki to go and eat them on the sand at Inchydoney or head over to Emmet Square for a picnic in the park.
