There’s a slight flood risk in the city this evening; be wide of these spots

We’ve had a serious soaking already this week.
But while the rain has finally stopped for a second (expect clear spells and scattered showers tonight) high tides are still posing problems across town.
Cork City Council is warning of a slight flood risk this evening in low-lying areas of Cork City due to high tides and weather conditions.
“Motorists and cyclists are advised to take particular care when travelling from 5pm -6.15pm as high tide is at 5.25pm.” the City Council said in a statement.
“Crews will be on standby on Lavitts Quay, South Terrace/Union Quay and on Wandesford Quay in case of any traffic disruption.
