Trying to eat clean? A new smoothie bar just opened in the Black Market
It might be silly season…
But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about our five-a-day.
And now there’s a new smoothie bar down the Marina way to help us pack in the nutrients while we browse the stalls in the run-up to Christmas.
A&P Smoothie Bar, brought to you in part by Alex Bruce, the mastermind behind SOMA Coffee, opens its service window in the Black Market today to dish out smoothies and smoothie bowls packed with fresh fruit, vitamins, protein and sometimes even flowers.
You can get your hands on the luscious Green Bowl, a blend of spinach, mango, and pineapple juice, topped with kiwi, strawberry, coconut, and cornflowers, before moving on to the Berry Smoothie, bursting with mixed berries, natural yoghurt, banana, orange juice, and protein.
There’s a total of six items on the opening menu, with three bowls and three smoothie options to choose from.
And great news if you’re a vegan; all smoothies and bowls are available in a range of milks with vegan-friendly proteins as well.

A&P Smoothie Bar opens at 12pm Friday, November 18th, located next to the Pie Guys at the Black Market, Monahan Road. It will open from 10am-5pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
