There’s a new Greek food truck beside The Rendezvous and it’s worth the detour

There’s a new food truck in town and it’s serving a blast of Greek holiday vibes.
Ammos Greek Foodtruck is the latest venture from two seriously experienced chefs who’ve been quietly grafting behind the scenes in some of Cork’s busiest kitchens for years.
Greek chef Klaudjo and Brazilian chef Gui first crossed paths back in 2019 working in Bunnyconnellan’s, before going on to build up impressive CVs across spots like The Blue Haven, Cork International Hotel, Kinsale Hotel, The Metropole and Gallagher’s.
Fast forward to now, and they’ve reunited to breathe new life into The Rendezvous — starting with Casa, and now expanding with this brand new food truck concept.
And the vibe? Proper, authentic Greek street food without having to trek into the city centre.
We’re talking juicy chicken and pork gyros, chicken souvlaki, stacked gyros bowls, feta and filo parcels, and Greek-style loaded fries. Here’s a peek at the menu:

But it’s not just about the food — the do have plans to create a proper family-friendly space for locals and visitors alike.
They’re open now… just in time for the blast of warm weather we’ve been promised by Met Éireann.
