There’s a lovely Christmas Market happening in Douglas Park this weekend

This’ll help you find your festive spirit.
The Christmas lights in Douglas Community Park will be set to twinkling this Sunday, December 5th, with an all-day Christmas Market to delight visitors of all ages.
The lights will be switched on by Gareth O’Callaghan and the High Hopes Choir, while Santa will be making the rounds and local groups will perform carols throughout the day.
Starting from noon, you can swing by and browse the food stalls for lunch and brunch, while picking up handmade crafts, candyfloss, crepes, and hot drinks from various artisan sellers.
The Three Teds, The Good Dairy Company, Clonakilty Home Made Ice Cream, Rory’s Reading Cushions, Kitty Krafts, Treasured Memories, and Handcrafted Floral Wreaths are already confirmed for the day, with loads more brilliant businesses yet to be announced,
Little visitors can take a spin on the carousel too, as part of a day of family fun laid on by the Community Park DCA Events Team.
The Christmas Market runs from 12pm until 7pm on the day. For further updates, check out the event listing on Facebook.
