The witching season has begun.
Yep; October is officially upon us and this year there’s a special treat for Cork grown-ups after the trick-or-treaters have gone to bed on Halloween Night.
The minute your little monsters turn out the lights, grab your broom stick and nip into town, where you can catch a fancy dress screening of the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus at The Cellar Theatre, Sheare’s Street on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 at 9pm.
And if you haven’t seen it, trust us; it’s an Oíche Shamhna classic.
Starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker, the 1993 cult comedy follows a villainous trio of witches, who are inadvertently resurrected by an unsuspecting teenage boy in Salem, Massachusetts.

Eat, drink and be scary
Freaky bites and spooky drinks will be served in the bar on the night (tickets €12 including popcorn here), as part of a themed evening hosted by Starlight Entertainment.
Fancy dress isn’t essential, but it is the absolute craic so you might as well go all out with your costume.
After all, if you’ve got it, haunt it…
