There are two spooky parades winding their way through Kinsale this weekend

All dressed up and nowhere to go?
If it’s Halloween fun and a bit of exercise you’re after, head to Kinsale with the kiddos this weekend.
The local witches, beasts, ghouls, and goblins will be gathering for two spooky events over the bank holiday and everyone’s invited to join them.
On Sunday, October 30th, a group will meet at The Spaniard Bar at 6.15pm for an atmospheric Lantern Parade around the Scilly Walk.
“Remember anyone can join us with whatever kind of light you want to bring, whether it be your phone torch or portable Christmas lights. Together we’ll light up the Scilly Walk for a stunning procession!” the organisers posted on social media.
Later that evening you can settle in for Ghostly Storytime at St Catherine’s Cultural Centre in Ardbrack, followed by some Mystical Music and Spectral Song.

On Halloween night, Monday, October 31st, the annual Halloween Parade will set off from Kinsale Town Park at 4pm.
It’ll be fancy dress all the way with prizes given to the best dressed and plenty of entertainment for spook seekers, young and old, including a Freak Show Circus in the park at 4.45pm.
