If there’s one thing you can count on in fashion, it’s that trends always come back around.

The 70s have dominated our wardrobes for the past few seasons – think turtlenecks, boho dresses, and puffed sleeves – and so it was only a matter of time before our denims caught up too.

Yes, flared jeans are set for a serious comeback in 2020.

Plenty of us will remember donning bell-bottoms to teenage discos back in the early 2000s, only to arrive home with the ends soaking after standing in the rain waiting for a lift.

Make like Bella Hadid or Selena Gomez, rather than ABBA, and keep the rest of your outfit simple. Pair your flares with a knitted jumper and some white runners for day-to-day wear or add heeled boots for a leg-lengthening look.
