The Silent Book Club is back after a sell-out first meet-up on a Cork farm

Finally, a book club where you don’t have to talk to anyone.
It’s like happy hour, but for people who want to read in peace — and be around other people who also want to read in peace.
Silent Book Club, the global introvert-friendly reading movement (yes, that’s a thing), is back this month, coming to West Cork again after a sell-out launch in July.

The next meet-up happens Sunday, August 10th, at the picturesque Camus Farm in Ardfield, Clonakilty — from 3pm to 5pm. It’s strictly 18+ and strictly no forced small talk.
Think: snacks, fresh air, and a blissful hour or two of collective, intentional quiet. It’s wholesome. It’s a little romantic. It’s extremely your vibe.
If reading alone together becomes your new favourite thing, future sessions are already lined up for September 14th. Global chapters have popped up everywhere from Paris to Tokyo, but one of the prettiest spots might be right on your doorstep.
