The party piece is the focus of this eclectic little evening in Cork with Holy Show

What’s your party piece?
Whether you give a blast of a song or a slip of a verse after a few drinks or squirm in the corner at the mere thought, an upcoming evening at Triskel will examine the ways in which we entertain ourselves – at home and in public, alone and together.
Writers and performers from across the Irish arts will gather ’round the fireside on Thursday, May 18th at 8pm for Holy Show’s Party Piece, a night of homespun entertainment as part of this year’s Bealtaine Festival.
Holy Show is a magazine about contemporary life and culture as seen through the eyes of Ireland’s artists. It adapts stories from artists and their projects to the printed page. It also has an events wing that developed from wanting to showcase the work of a contributing artist in collaboration with a filmmaker.
