The horror continues to unfold in Gaza.

And if you’d like to learn more about the challenges the region is facing and how you can help, a free evening talk is happening in Kinsale on Thursday, January 25th.

Invited by the Kinsale Peace Project, HE Dr Jilan Abdalmajid, Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland will lead a discussion on current tragic events in Gaza and the West Bank at The Friary Centre in Kinsale on the night at 8pm.

Ireland has a long tradition of solidarity with the Palestinian cause and Dr Abdalmajid works to advance the Palestinian – Irish Bilateral relationship and strengthen ties with the Irish government and people.

“Earlier in the day, Padraig Fitzgerald and Gerard Timmons of the Kinsale Peace Project will be bringing the ambassador to visit
Kinsale Community School to meet the school principal Mr Fergal McCarthy, where the ambassador will speak to students about the tragic situation in Gaza.” the organisers told us.

There is no entry fee but donations are welcome at the door.
